BMW – M5 Preview Event
Brand and event photography for BMW's M5 preview launch, a multi-day event pairing the debut of BMW's flagship performance sedan with a culinary program designed to match the car's precision and ambition.
The brief called for imagery that could bridge the worlds of automotive luxury and fine dining, communicating the shared values of craft, performance, and refined experience that BMW and its culinary partners wanted the event to convey.
About the Project
Where food photography meets luxury brand events
BMW's M5 preview event was designed as a multi-sensory brand experience, the kind of event photography that has to serve two audiences at once. The photography needed to capture both the precision of the car and the hospitality crafted around it. Tom's approach drew on his food photography expertise to document the culinary program while maintaining the visual language of BMW's brand.
The resulting images supported BMW's event documentation, internal communications, and marketing materials, demonstrating the brand's commitment to excellence across every dimension of the preview experience.
